Product Description
The most cost-effective candle wax available, our paraffin candle wax has been specifically formulated for use with all types of candle moulds and provides you with clean, rigid homemade candles that are long-lasting and look great.

Paraffin candle wax is the most commonly used wax for at-home candle making because of its ease of use and slow burning properties.

You can make all types of candle with paraffin candle wax, from tea candles to jar candles, but this wax is particularly good for large and chunky candles thanks to its strength, hardness and resistance to higher room temperatures – so it should not melt or lose shape unless it is in use.

If you’re interested in candle making, this wax can be used with our large range of moulds and can be coloured, scented and decorated in various ways giving you a unique candle that makes a perfect decoration or gift for a loved one.

Paraffin candle wax has a melting point of approx. 60°C. It is supplied in a convenient pellet form in easily stackable bags that have instructions and safety information.

For best results, we recommend you use this wax with Stearin and Vybar.

We recommend a pouring temperature of 10-15°C above the melting point.

How to calculate how much wax you need:

1. Fill your container or mould with water (if it's a mould, cover the hole with your finger) to the required level

2. Tip the water into a measuring jug, round up to the nearest 10ml

3. Deduct 20%

4. That's the number of grams of wax to use

For example if your container takes 250ml of water, you would use 200g of wax (250ml - 20% = 200g).
