Drawing Inks

Unlike the majority of other colour products listed in this catalogue, drawing inks are based on dyes. Carefully manufactured to give brilliant colouring, most of the inks are transparent and due to the shellac base used in their production they are water resistant when dry. Drawing inks are perfect for line illustrations and design work. As these inks are not lightfast, illustrations carried out in these colours should not be hung in strong light. Inks are certainly one of the most economical colour applications available and even when diluted with water the finish remains bright and attractive.
