    Tritik or stitch resist is the third classic resist dye method after batik and tie-dye. These pieces are from Yunnan province in South West China. Patterns are stitched into the cloth using waxed yarn. After dip dyeing repeatedly to achieve a deep blue, the stitches are removed to reveal these traditional designs. 6 pieces each 27cm square.
