Body Double

Once tried you'll not want to use any other mould making material! Produce multiple castings from numerous substances including: plaster, wax, polyester and polyurethane resins, even low temperature metal alloys. Body Double is made from long lasting silicone elastomers which have been specially developed for safe life casting. It picks up a superb amount of detail making it not only perfect for body casting but great for inanimate objects too. This two part silicone mix has a working time of 6 minutes and is easy to apply with a demoulding time of just 30 minutes. It will not distort during or after curing, has practically no shrinkage and excellent mechanical properties when cured. If using as a body casting, cover skin with Body Release Cream first and always do a small patch test on each individual's skin. The amount of body double used per mould is less than most alginates, so the cost per mould is more reasonable than you may think. Works perfectly with the Smooth Cast Resin (M782A).
