Thought to originate from the 1930’s and was initially considered as a replacement for plastic compounds during wartime when plastic was so scarce. Whilst it wasn’t suitable for certain needs it was found to be highly effective as a modelling material. FIMO was later sold to Eberhardt Faber. The name was kept and it continues to be the name most associated with modelling clays and materials.
We are pleased to be able to offer a wide range of FIMO soft modelling materials in many colours including glow in the dark, a glitter version and a finishing varnish just to name a few.
